Benefits and Financial Support

Mothers who join the Aghosh Program can get around Rs. 23,000 in small payments at different stages.

  • Rs. 2,000 on first registration at the health center
  • Rs. 1,500 for each pregnancy checkup (up to Rs. 6,000 total)
  • Rs. 4,000 for delivery at a health facility
  • Rs. 2,000 for the newborn’s first checkup within 15 days
  • Rs. 5,000 after birth certificate registration
  • Rs. 4,000 for baby’s vaccination (in steps)

Districts Covered in First Phase.

The Aghosh Program is going on in 13 districts right now: Dera Ghazi Khan, Taunsa Sharif, Rajanpur, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, Kot Addu, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Khushab, and Lodhran. These places were picked so moms and pregnant women can easily get health help and some financial support. For now, it’s only in these districts, and no new ones have been added yet.

How to Check / Get Payment

  • Use your CNIC number to check your available balance.
  • Payments are sent directly through the Punjab PSPA system.
  • Make sure to register at a government health center.
  • Attend all pregnancy checkups and deliver at a proper health facility.
  • Follow program steps like newborn vaccination and birth registration to get full payment.
  • When all steps are completed, the payment is released automatically.
